The Borrowed Tomb tells the story of Christ’s death and resurrection from the prospective of two members of the Sanhedrin – Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea. We witness their struggle of faith and belief as they interact with each other, members of the Sanhedrin, Mary Magdalene and Jesus. What did it really mean to be a member of the Sanhedrin with both religious and political power? Who were these men and how did they become dramatically involved in the life and death of Christ? Acts of faith and belief shed light into their lives, as the events that surround Christ’s death and resurrection unfold.
